The objectives of the IAEA is to enable the contribution of nuclear energy to peace, health and prosperity throughout the world. It seeks to achieve this by fostering the exchange of information concerning peaceful uses of nuclear energy through various means, e.g. organizing conferences and meetings; undertaking technical co-operation with countries seeking to improve their understanding and use of nuclear energy; and providing educations and reference information.
